Introduction
Maryam Nawaz is the daughter of Mian Nawaz Sharif and she
is at number two in the four children’s of Mian Nawaz Sharif.Maryam Nawaz is an
active politician of PML-N.Maryam Nawaz was born in Punjab on 28 October
1978.In 1992 Maryam Nawaz got married to Captain Safdar and she has now three
chilrens.Maryam Nawaz first political appearance was in 2013 elections for the political
election campaign of her father Mian Nawaz Sharif in which she actively took

Former PM of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif is the father of
Maryam Nawaz and her mother name is Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif.Hassan Nawaz and
Hussain Nawaz are the bothers of her and she has one sister named as Asma
Nawaz.Captain (retired) Safdar Awan is her huband and Maryam Nawaz has three
childerns with the name of Junaid Safdar,Meher-Un- Nisa Safdar and Mahnoor
Safdar.
Education
From Convent of Jesus and Mary, Lahore Maryam Nawaz
got her early education and then due to her extreme passion to become a doctor
she joined King Edward Medical College
in 1980s but she left the college without completion of her degree due to her
illegal admission source issues and later from Punjab University she undergraduate in
literature and in 2012 she announced her PhD in English Literature which is
still a controversial degree and also challenged in Lahore High Court moreover in the elections of 2018 she only declared
her Master’s in English Literature.
Career in Politics
Maryam Nawaz remaind the chairperson of Sharif Trust,
Sharif Education Institutes and Sharif Medical City before entering in to her
political career.Maryam Nawaz started her polititical career in 2012 and in
2013 for the election compain of Mian Nawaz Sharif she was in full control and
played the major role in her father successful election campaign.
For Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Maryam Nawaz was performing
her duties as a chairperson in 2013 then suddenly Pakistan Tehrik-E-Insaf challenged
her appointment which resulted the termination of her duties in November 2014
by the Lahore High Court.
There was a major achievement from Maryam Nawaz in
December 2017 that she was in to the top 11 world powerful women in the list of
The
New York Times.
Maryam Nawaz became
practically more active in 2017 when Supreme Court of Pakistan disqualified her
father Mian Nawaz Sharid affected by Panama Papers.
In July 2018 Maryam nawaz
sent to jail for 7 years in Avenfield reference
which was filed by the National Accountability Bureau
(NAB).
